American Medical Academy offers advanced nurses training program in USA in partnership with the AMA’s partner US healthcare organizations. The US Nurses Training Program (NTP) of American Medical Academy (AMA) is designed to prepare and upgrade Nurses who have completed their Nursing education, training and license from outside of USA.
The Program is for a period of 12 months of studies/training with 4-6 months practical (up to 20 weeks of training) at the US hospitals and elderly care facilities; this program is jointly offering in partnership AMA’s partner healthcare organization and partner institutions.
The Course Overview:
The AMA’s US Nurses Training Program is designed to introduce the US nursing care, healthcare system and the clinical & healthcare service training for the foreign graduated nurses. This program will also improve Nurses skills and knowledge for those who have completed their Nursing diploma or degree from outside of USA. This program include introduction to US healthcare system, nursing review courses and up to 20 weeks of practical training. This program is jointly conducting in USA by AMA and its healthcare partners.
The Program is for a period of 12 months of studies/training with medical terminology classes, nursing program review courses and practical training at the US hospitals and healthcare facilities. Candidates joining the program will undergo intensive preparation in Medical and Nursing subjects including geriatric training.
The candidates are required to do up to 20 weeks of practical training at the US hospitals and healthcare facilities and during this practical training period, candidates do not receive any stipends. In order to do the practical training at the healthcare facility, candidates are required to study and complete the initial required courses.
[It is possible for the qualified candidates to write for the US RN licensing exam during the study period or after completing the program; and any such opportunity will totally depend upon the individual candidate’s professional qualification and his/her own efforts].
Program Eligibility:
Candidates should have completed her/his nursing diploma or degree from an accredited institution from outside of the US universities and nursing colleges; and also candidate should have the nursing license from the candidate’s home country.

General Information:
All students (US Nurses Training Program students) must complete the US healthcare system, nursing review subjects, Medial terminology and communication skills, prior to start practical training (clinical) at the Hospitals and elderly care facilities:
The American Medical Academy has the right to review the program and from time to time make necessary changes of the program depending upon the external and internal factors which will have an effect for successfully running the program.
Upon completion of the program, candidates will receive program completion certificate from AMA and our partner institution/healthcare facilities.
