PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
American Medical Academy offers the CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant)in cooperation with the Healthcare Organization. Nursing Assistants are an integral part of the US medical team. The CNA would work directly with patients, under the direction and supervision of Licensed Nurses, for example an RN or LPN. They are an important part of the US healthcare system and are a vital support to the entire hospital staff
This program would last six to eight weeks program, Upon successful completion of 200 hours (140 hours of clinical and 60 hours of theory), candidate has to take the exam. The partial will be done at elderly care facilities including the assisted living facilities. Upon completion of the program and passing the exam, candidates would get certificate and then candidate would be able to sit for the state certification exam
A Nursing Assistant focuses would be on providing patients with more personal care during their recovery phase or hospital stay, while helping nursing staff with additional tasks. Nursing Assistants focus on providing much needed support and assistance to the Nursing staff and medical professionals in order to provide the best healthcare to patients.
Eligibility Criteria
The Nurse Assistant Program is open to any individual who is physically and mentally fit with a minimum education qualification of 12 years of schooling (12) but good to have candidates with high school diploma with science subjects. To join for AMA’s Nurse Assistant Program, each candidate must fulfill the following criteria..
All candidates must have minimum 12 years of schooling. ADMISSION PROCESS AND REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years old
Complete N.A. Application (with written essay)
High School Diploma or GED
Candidates must be from the Science stream (candidates must have taken science subjects during the last three years of schooling).

Application for joining the Nurse Assistant program dully filled and signed.
Copy of the valid passport (all pages with printed and written information).
Certificate of completion of their 12th year of schooling (minimum 12th grade pass certificate).
Recommendation letter from two individuals known to the candidate.
Acceptance and Offer
Once AMA admission office receives the dully filled and signed application form along with the document required for enrollment, the admission board review and verifies these documents. On finding the documents in order, it is then checked with the appropriate authorities for verification and acceptance of the candidate for the program. Then AMA sends a conditional offer letter to the candidate and then requires the candidate to make the initial payment specified in the offer letter. The candidate also has to fulfill all other criteria specified on the offer letter.
